Go camping with my horses
And sleep where I can see the stars
See all fifty states
And all fifty capitals
And when I’ve done it all
I will count them again
I’ve been to
Alabama 1 Alaska 2
Messy Room
By Tabby Schwab
Whosever room this is should be ashamed
Her hat is hanging from a window
Her closet’s missing half its door
There are wrappers by her pillow
Her mother thinks that it’s a crime
Not to clean her room
When she has plenty of time
She really needs to buy a broom
Or at least a mop
There are cobwebs on the ceiling
Her dresser is covered in sticky pop
This room gives me a dirty feeling
Whosever room this is should be ashamed
Mary or Sue or Elma or
Huh? You say its mine? Oh crap
I knew it looked familiar!
Tire swing
Me and my cousins would wind he
Tire swing up tight and one of us would
Get on and the other two would let go
When you were on it felt like you were going to fall off
And there were times you just wanted to give up and let
Go but then you’d hear your family
Cheering you on and you just had
To b beat the others so you hold on tighter
Sometimes the rope would start to bounce while unwinding
And you would think you were going to lose it that this was it
You would never make it
And when it got real bad I could yell out
And there would always be someone there
To help me keep control and help me out
But in the end it was something I had to do on my own
Ive realized the tire swing is going to keep spinning
My whole life I can’t get of
And sometimes life is so rough you just wanna
Give up but you have to hold on
Life’s tire swing never stops
What I want is by T. A. Schwab
What I want is
Enough life
To do what I want
What I want to do is
Go to Las Vegas
And see the casinos
Go to Hawaii
And put my feet in the ocean
In the ocean
Swim with dolphins
Go to Florida
And meet Goofy
Fly in a plane on 911
And celebrate my birthday
Go camping with my horses
And sleep where I can see the stars
See all fifty states
And all fifty capitals
And when I’ve done it all
I will count them again
